ACTUAL VIDEO: Nakakatakot Na Pangyayari Sa Resorts World Manila

On 2 June 2017, several people were injured in an attack at the Resorts World Manila complex in Pasay, Philippines. Gunfire and explosions have been heard. While initial suspicions on news and media strongly pointed towards a terrorist attack, Director General of the Philippine National Police Ronald dela Rosa clarified a few hours after the beginning of the assault that the motivation was likely robbery.

A few minutes after midnight of 2 June 2017, Resorts World Manila in the Philippines was the subject of an attack initially believed to be perpetrated by an ISIS-inspired Islamist group in the Philippines.
The attack, occuring concurrently with Philippine government offensives against Daesh-linked militants in Marawi, targets an area popular with Western and American tourists. The attack reportedly began in the 2nd floor of the resorts casino-hotel complex, which suffered fire damage after witnesses reported an assailant pouring fuel on the casino tables, and an active gunman was reported in the restaurant below the 2nd floor Casino. By 1:30, a Philippine SWAT team had responded in a raid of the mall. The gunman took gambling chips worth 113 million pesos which were found in his bag.

At least 54 people were injured, including a security guard who accidentally shot himself. All others were injured in the panic. SITE Intelligence Group reported that a Filipino operative linked to ISIS claimed on Telegram that "lone wolf soldiers" connected to the group were behind it. The gunman reportedly wore a mask, and did not utter any noises or battle cries just before beginning the assault. People hearing the initial shots immediately fled from the 2nd and 1st floors of the building, but with some retreating deeper in the building for cover and becoming holed up as a result.
